Don’t be blamed for the flames was a summer long campaign to prevent and raise awareness of accidental and deliberate fires across Staffordshires beauty hotspots.

It was featured in PR Weeks ‘8 public sector campaigns we liked in 2020’.

I set the tone for the campaign from the grpahical style to the main copywriting. Elements of the campaign involved the production of large banners to be placed at a number of hotspots along with multiple social graphics, videos, animations, flyers, signs, cigarette disposal and other things.

We partnered with the Wildlife Trust and local mountain rescue to hang a six metre banner from a cliff face that can be seen from miles around. It gathered huge local and national media attention.
